THE BODONIS.
Joakim Johnsson and Fredrik Svensson formed
The Bodonis in April 2005 when Joakim had
to make a school project about italian
typographer Giambattista Bodoni. They decided to
write and produce an instrumental record inspired by the great
man in just one day. That record was the Manuale
Typographico Ep.
 Almost two years after their first recording,
they decided to make a full length album and
release it for free on the web. The 10 songs
were written and produced on a couple of
recording sessions in January 2007. This time
they were inspired by a day care center,
renaissance litterature, biathlon, star wars,
Magnus Samuelsson - the strongest man in the
world. The record was called Le Malade
Imaginaire Lp.

If you thought Post Mortem was kinda pretentious,
yet extremely well crafted and always
interesting.. Think again. The brand new Cutting
Edge ep is all that - And then some! 4 catchy
tunes that will send shivers down your
salsa-dancing legs and 6" nails through your
skull.
And what about this synthesizerpalooza on the
last two records?!?! We say - Don't worry! The
boys confirm that the next Bodonis record (that's
right, the one after the Bodonis vs. MC Bomb
album) will be pure drum 'n guitar instro indie
rock. The way it should be. But then again.. you
never know with The Bodonis.

The recordings of The Bodonis are few and far
between. But we're proud to announce the release
of our latest album Post Mortem - a Symphony of
the Dead.

The Bodonis & MC Bomb performed live for the
first time last Saturday. Words like Great and
Success comes to mind. People seemed to enjoy
the concept, and we'll be happy to perform
together again somewhere in the near future.
Studio versions of the songs, as well as more
songs will also be released.
